Scotland has it’s mountains and lochs. England’s countryside changes from the lakes and rolling hills in the north to the vast areas of agricultural land in the central areas and densely populated south of England. Wales with it’s dramatic mountains and coastline; United Kingdom surely has something for everyone! Add to all of that the rich history and the fascinating British cities - there is so much to see and do you will want to stay longer.

Agriculture
Placements on cropping and livestock farms range greatly in size, from the small and medium through to the very large.
Some farms have a mixture of both cropping and livestock. The growing season starts in May and ends in October.
A selection of the placements available includes: beef cattle, dairy, cropping – wheat, barley, sugar beet, peas, rye and pigs (hogs).

Horticulture placement opportunities are wide and varied and include possibilities in viticulture, nurseries, citrus, fruit, potplants and annuals. Accommodation will vary dependent on your placement, it will range from staying with a family to bunkhouse accommodation.

These placements offer a mixture of outside and inside work. Your function will be to help on the property and in the family home.

There are a small number of agricultural placements that have an element of horse work connected with them. Some equine placements are available within the equestrian and thoroughbred sectors.
